Ohhh you guys. I hope you have a box of tissues ready, because this engagement session has had me on the verge of tears all week. Like for reals.

When Hannah showed me a picture of her dress a few months back I started freaking out with excitement. Then when Saturday finally arrived and I saw her and Pat looking like they walked straight out of a fairy tale, I could hardly control myself. (I pulled myself together though – no one wants a sobbing photographer around.)

I don’t think Saturday could have been any more perfect. Slightly overcast skies with a hint of sunshine and spring-like temperatures. Who knew Chicago was capable of that kind of weather in February?!

We spent our first half at Chicago’s gorgeous Union Station. Between the hints of gold and the stunning architecture, it was the perfect backdrop for their formal outfits. We then swapped the suit and gown for cozy warm sweaters and headed to Adler Planetarium for, what I believe are, some of the best skyline views in the city.

Hannah and Pat, you two are stunning and such a joy to be around! Counting down the days til October 14th! 🙂
