Rustic Blush and Navy County Line Orchard Wedding | Kelly & Ryan

Weddings

Calling all lovers of apple picking! This gorgeously rustic apple orchard wedding at County Line Orchard with touches of navy blue and blush pink will have you counting down the days til fall!

Kelly and Ryan shared their vows at St. Cajetan Catholic Church in Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood. Sweet story alert: This wasn’t Kelly and Ryan’s first time walking down that aisle together. Not long ago, they walked as Maid of Honor and Best Man for the wedding of Kelly’s sister and Ryan’s best friend. And that’s where their love story began. Oh and those socks Ryan is wearing below? Those were the socks he wore in that wedding when he met his future wife. Yep, cue the tears.

The couple’s reception was held at County Line Orchard in Hobart, Indiana and WOW – I think it’s safe to say I have a new obsession with photographing at apple orchards. Everywhere you look there is a unique and beautiful setting to play in! For the couple’s portraits, we picked one of the tree lined aisles, where tiny pink apples were starting to grow. I loved way the light was streaming in at the tops of the trees, creating a soft, dreamy, glowy look.

And then there was the bridal party… 🙂 You can tell a lot about a couple just from the people they have in their wedding party. And if this group says anything about Kelly and Ryan, it’s that they are fun and kind! Real talk, bridal parties can be one of the toughest parts of the day for photographers, when you have so many personalities and opinions in one space, but this crew made my job very easy and thoroughly enjoyable! And it doesn’t hurt that they were STYLIN’, am I right? I loved the girls’ mismatched navy blue dresses. So many beautiful styles that meshed perfectly and looked so chic next to the guys’ grey Michael Kors suits.

The fun continued throughout the reception, with heartfelt toasts and a lively dance floor. FYI y’all: I LOVE dancing photos. Some of the funniest candid moments come on the dance floor and I’m obsessed with capturing those!

Kelly and Ryan thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of this incredibly beautiful, fun day. Enjoy these highlights and I can’t wait to share the rest with you!
