Working on the final few installments of my 2017 Top Tens and the series wouldn’t be complete without a roundup of some of my favorite florals from the year. I LOVE florals, although you wouldn’t know it based on how much of a green thumb I DON’T have. Seriously, succulents are about as advanced as I’m able to get in my house. I’ll gladly pay the extra money for the pre-made arrangements to put on my tables 😉
So here’s a trip down memory lane of some of the gorgeous arrangements I had the pleasure of photographing this year. I loved all the color combos and the mix of styles – each and every bouquet was perfect and I could stare at them all day! This post would probably be easier if I knew more about botany but we’re going to roll with it. In other news, if any florists out there want to teach me what’s what, I’ll gladly come intern for you for a bit 😉
Let’s start with Iliana’s gorgeous winter arrangement from Laura Carrillo Designs. I don’t know many flower names, but I know anemones and ADORE them and think they just scream ‘winter’. I love the mix of the anemones with the big fluffy red flowers and the soft greens.
Such a lovely mix of textures and classy winter colors.
The bouquets Hannah chose for her bridesmaids were absolutely stunning and were the perfect accent to the girls’ elegant burgundy gowns. What would have been gorgeous on its own as just a blush pink and white bouquet was taken to the next level with the burgundy sprigs scattered throughout. Shamrock Garden Florist did beautiful work with these!
Would you believe that Danielle created this bouquet on her own?! If you’ve ever wondered if you can have a budget wedding AND a stunning bouquet, this should be proof that it’s possible! This long-stemmed arrangement of white and green was the perfect way to bring Danielle’s vision of a rustic wedding to life.
These bridesmaid bouquets from Eden were rustic fall perfection. The mix of burgundy, blush and that pop of light coral is an absolute dream, and the whimsical array of greenery adds so much incredible texture and visual appeal.
There was so much to love about Chelsea’s bouquet from Fabbrini’s Flowers. I loved the subtle additions of the baby’s breath and those small purple flowers to the larger pink blooms. Such a pretty summer arrangement!
And again, Danielle proved that you can have your cake and eat it too with budget weddings and gorgeous florals. Danielle and her bridesmaids made these whimsical arrangements of wildflowers and I CANNOT GET ENOUGH. I love the effortless style and the pretty colors.
This classy pink beauty by Gerbera’s Floral and Travel was a gorgeous accent for these navy bridesmaid dresses. I loved the varying shades of pink along with the hint of gold in the sprigs. Such a pretty arrangement for Kelly’s summer shindig at County Line Orchard!
Ok I know this isn’t a bouquet but Noel’s floral crown is ALL THINGS GOALS. I’m obsessed with the mix of florals and greenery. Would it be weird if I wore this on a daily basis?!
Just because you’re having a small wedding doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a gorgeous bouquet to carry!
Vy’s Floral Design created a perfect arrangement for Molly, full of the loveliest shades of pink and beautiful textures.
The bouquets Amanda chose for her bridesmaids were a lovely fall mix. I adored the lush cascading greenery with those pops of burgundy to go with the girls’ dresses.
Ok one more, because I have to mention the photo that was featured at the very top of the post! I loved Hannah’s classic white bouquet from Shamrock Garden Florist. It was the perfect touch for her elegant, black-tie wedding and shows that classic never goes out of style!
Looking forward to another year of beautiful blooms like these!
