In case you missed the feature on Every Last Detail, I’m doing a recap here of this gorgeous spring styled shoot, planned by Sarah Rhodes-Boyce.
The inspiration for this shoot was a simple, sweet Parisian spring, full of lush florals and old architecture. Sarah envisioned a soft color palette of light gray, soft blues and pinks, crisp linen-y whites and pure greens. Despite the fact that it was an overcast, chilly Chicago winter day, The Armour House provided us with the most beautiful backdrop for the shoot and made us feel like we had been transported to an early, crisp Paris spring!
Alyssa (Jackson Floral Design) brought romance to the look with a full, organic styled bouquet and a statement centerpiece, using big blooms and lush greenery and adding long trailing ribbons for a soft ethereal element.
In keeping with the soft, romantic vibe, hair (Hollibeauty) and makeup (Dani Lou Beauty) aimed for effortless, timeless beauty. Makeup was kept classic, natural and glowy, bringing out the bride’s beautiful brown eyes. Hair was a simple, chic loose updo, that paired perfectly with the neckline of the dress.
The invitation suite and menus from Parkside Prints added a lovely french blue to the mix and would be the perfect addition of simple elegance to any spring wedding.
The table scape brought everything together, mixing textures, patterns and colors in a beautifully simple, effortless way. With a statement centerpiece and a couple of statement candlesticks, you don’t need much to make an impact with your table! By the way, how amazing are those blue candlesticks?!
This shoot was truly a dream, with wonderful vendors, at an incredible location. The Armour House has such gorgeous architectural elements – you’d never know we were still in Illinois!
Enjoy!
