Downtown Chicago Engagement | Kristina & Jeff

Engagements

It’s engagement season!! Cue all the heart eyes! Engagement sessions are some of my absolute favorite things to photograph. They are always so fun and relaxed and a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before wedding day. Kristina and Jeff picked some of my favorite Chicago locations for their session so I couldn’t have been more excited when their scheduled weekend rolled around!

We started at the Wrigley Building, which, despite being crowded this time of year, is always a gorgeous view. Something about the way the colors and textures all mix together over there – it really brings out some of the best of Chicago! We then walked around Wacker Drive, stopping at different points to capture some lovely city views. And a quick pop down to the Riverwalk for a change of scenery is always a good idea! For the second half of the session we went to the ever so elegant Union Station. Those big beautiful columns are so regal and make for such wonderful backdrops for any occasion. You know I love me some neutrals and architecture 😉

I loved spending the afternoon with Kristina and Jeff. They had such a wonderful energy and were so sweet together! All things that the camera loves 🙂 Also, can we talk about outfit choices? I’m basically obsessed with Kristina’s Anthro skirt (hello pockets) and Lulu’s maxi dress. And Jeff looked super sharp in his sport coat and suit. Both outfits paired perfectly with the locations and photographed beautifully!

K&J I’m so excited to be a part of your story over this next year and already can’t wait for the wedding! Enjoy these highlights! Can’t wait to send the full gallery to you!!
