Y’all I’m so excited to share this engagement session today! We’re taking a break from all the lovey Chicago sessions and heading about 90 miles away to South Bend, Indiana. Patrice and Ronny went to college across the street from each other and met while they were there. So it only made sense to photograph their engagement session where it all started! Ronny attended Notre Dame and Patrice went to Saint Mary’s College, so we split our time between the two, and let me tell you, these campuses are GORGEOUS!

Saint Mary’s is a hidden oasis with a small lake surrounded by greens and painted with a perfect architectural backdrop, making my little architecture-loving heart soar. Give me all the bridges and beautifully designed buildings please! And to top it off, even though it was incredibly gloomy, we had some of the best fall colors I’ve seen in quite some time! Those golden hues and pops of orange were stunning!

At Notre Dame, we of course had to highlight the infamous Golden Dome. It’s nothing short of a show stopper! After a quick outfit change, we proceeded to stroll through more of the campus, finding little spots to highlight.

Patrice and Ronny were absolute perfection and I’m already counting down the days til their wedding next fall! Here’s to hoping we get the same colorful fall goodness!
