2018 Top Ten: France Photos

Travel

We’re getting near the end of the Top Ten Series for 2018 and, as a self-proclaimed francophile, I would be crazy not to include some of my favorite snaps from France this year! I love getting to explore this incredible country and immerse myself more and more in their beautiful culture and language.

Monet’s Garden in Giverny

Monet’s Garden in Giverny is nothing short of magical. And this stunning series of floral arches was the icing on the cake.

Classic Paris Buildings Along the Seine

I adore the neutral, earthy tones of the buildings in Paris, paired with the pretty green tones of the Seine. Strolling along the river and taking in the sights is one of my favorite things to do!

Classic Paris Blue Rooftops

It doesn’t get much more quintessential Paris than these classic pale blue rooftops and the rust colored chimney pipes.

Jardin des Tuileries in Paris

I love the lush florals and greens of the Tuileries and the view of the Louvre and its stunning architecture in the background.

Ivy Lined Blue Door in the Loire Valley

This blue, ivy lined door at Chateau Bouthonvilliers is just a straight up fairy tale. I want to walk into that door every day!

Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris

One of my favorite things to do the afternoons in Paris is take a book and a cookie and head over to the Luxembourg Gardens to relax. The gardens in Paris have these green chairs scattered around, encouraging people to stop and sit for a spell, which I LOVE.

Palais du Luxembourg in Paris

People in Paris know how to relax. I love coming across open fields like this with swarms of people enjoying each others company and soaking in the day. And how fabulous that you get views of the Luxembourg Palace while doing that?!

Flower Market in Paris

Every where you turn in Paris, you stumble across little flower markets and they are glorious!

Classic French Brasserie in Chartres

Ohhh the classic French brasserie with red and white checkered table cloths and the chalkboard lunch menu. It doesn’t get much better!

Classic Paris Views

I love how La Tour Eiffel pops up in such unexpected places, reminding you of where you are and how magical it is!
