I’m SO excited to share today’s post with you! I had the absolute best time exploring Big Cottonwood Canyon in Utah with Michaela and Josh from Moose Studio. Walking through knee deep snow (thank goodness for the snowshoers who packed some of it down!) surrounded by the rocks and woods of the canyons, was pure magic and I can’t get enough of it. If you haven’t been to Utah, stop what you’re doing and go now because it’s absurdly gorgeous.

Michaela and Josh are the whole package – incredibly sweet, adventurous, cuddly, and just all around delightful people to spend an afternoon with and have in front of my camera.

We started the shoot with a more formal look: a sleek suit for Josh and a sparkly dress for Michaela that shimmered beautifully against the snow. For the second half, they switched to a more casual look, full of beautiful earthy neutrals and lots of layers. It was winter outfit perfection! I’m obsessed with Michaela’s knit sweater and pea coat combo. And I love love love Josh’s scarf and the blue tones he wore.

Thank you so much Michaela and Josh for braving the cold and snow and going on a canyon adventure with me! You absolutely lit up the camera – choosing favorites was so so difficult!
