Today’s post is full of elegance, stunning architecture, adorable puppies, and the sweetest couple. In other words, it’s a GOOD ONE Y’ALL 🙂 Abby and Danny chose the Art Institute and Olive Park for their engagement session locations. Both spots are gorgeous, especially when you’re lucky enough to have a sunny day like we did!

The Art Institute is the perfect indoor engagement session location!

We started our session at the Art Institute, which, I’m going to go ahead and say it, is my new favorite indoor spot in the city. There are endless options for backdrops and so many beautiful lines to play with. So if you like architecture and art, this is a great way to spend part of your session during the winter or on rainy days!

Abby and Danny couldn’t have chosen more perfect outfits for this location. The shades of blue they chose popped beautifully in this space and, side note, those shades always photograph like a DREAM. I’m absolutely obsessed with Abby’s fitted navy gown with that chic off-the-shoulder silhouette. And then Danny brought his A-game with his light blue suit and those awesome white sneakers. So stylish! I had the best time exploring the museum with these two!

Olive Park and Ohio Street Beach provide gorgeous city and lake views!

After a quick outfit change and a stop back at the apartment to pick up two very special guests, we headed to our outdoor location, Olive Park. It was a beautiful March day, sunny, not too windy, and not too cold. Can’t ask for much more! We spent a few minutes in Olive Park, capturing some beautiful portraits of the couple AND some family photos with their two adorable pups, Pippa and Kruz. I cannot even handle how cute these pups are! And so full of personality!

After the park unexpectedly closed on us, we walked down to the beach to finish up our session! Flexibility is always key during engagements and weddings 🙂 We still got those beautiful rays of sun peeking through the buildings, the sweeping view of the skyline, and added in some fun texture from the sandy beach. I loved every bit of this session and am so excited to share these sneak peeks today!
