It all started with the gown. This gorgeously chic gown from Edith Elan would look right at home in a ballroom or at a royal wedding. But I wanted to put it in an unexpected setting – in the middle of a snow-filled mountain wonderland. We added a loose, whimsical hairstyle to keep with the effortless, adventurous feel of a mountain elopement. With the florals we played with the modern element by doing an asymmetrical shape, but maintained a hint of classic elegance with the soft, romantic color palette.
I think winter weddings are some of the most striking and wanted this shoot to inspire other adventurous couples to splurge on a few things and then brave the elements to go say their vows in an epic location!
