I’m so excited to share Kasia and LJ’s sunny summertime engagement session at North Avenue Beach today! It’s full of classic chicago views, stunning summer colors, and the sweetest couple.
You never know what type of light to expect in Chicago. Fortunately, it’s a beautiful enough city that it doesn’t matter the weather. But when you are blessed with a sunny day on Lake Michigan, the colors just SING. I literally cannot handle how perfectly aqua the light turned the lake!
For Kasia and LJ’s session, we went to North Avenue Beach to take advantage of those gorgeous city views. It was a super windy day, but these two rolled with it and embraced everything the city gave them! I know it can be hard for us gals to embrace the wind, but I love the movement it creates in the images. If you let it do its thing and just be present in the moment, it can truly be oh so romantic. Just look at Kasia as an example!
I love the soft colors these two chose for their session. Those muted shades of pink and blue, with the subtle patterns provide the perfect palette. And Kasia’s sweet flowy wrap dress was classy perfection! Those flowy sleeves, the length of the dress, and the wrap silhouette are ALWAYS a flattering choice ladies!
Kasia and LJ, I had such a fun evening with you and cannot wait to celebrate with you this month!
