I’m so excited to share highlights from Megan and Nick’s elegant lavender summer wedding at Crystal Tree Country Club. This wedding was full of sweet touches of lavender, delicate florals, and hints of the bride’s Irish culture. So much to love!

Fun with friends and classic bridal elegance

Prep photos – this time of day is always quick but fun. It’s always interesting to see the difference in ambiance and mood between the guys and the girls! The guys tend to have it easy when it comes to preparation so there’s usually a very relaxed atmosphere and lots of personality 😉 The girls have usually been prepping for hours so there’s always a bit more anticipation in the air.

Megan’s bridal look was so full of classic elegance, with her beautifully layered ballgown skirt, the intricate lace detailing, the delicate cap sleeve silhouette, and her cathedral veil. Her curly ponytail was the perfect updo for a warm and windy summer day. She was an absolute vision!

A ceremony complete with a bagpiper

The ceremony took place in a picturesque little church – I loved the lightness of the room and the arches framing the altar. Friends and family came from all over the globe to celebrate Megan and Nick so it was a packed house! The ceremony was full of laughs, smiles, and tears. One of my favorite moments of the day was Nick looking at me when the wedding party began walking down the aisle to tell me he was already crying. These two have such a beautiful love for each other and it was so evident during this time.

After their grand bagpipe exit, their trolley had champagne waiting for a toast to the new bride and groom! So much fun!

Portraits at a sheep farm

When the bride’s family lives on a farm full of sheep, you take advantage of that for portraits! It gave such a unique, meaningful and personal touch to the portraits. It was a gloriously sunny day, making the farm and this sweet couple absolutely glow!

An elegant reception at Crystal Tree Country Club

Crystal Tree Country Club provided a lovely, light filled setting for the cocktail hour and the reception. I love the elegant centerpieces with that beautiful shade of lavender and the mix of textures. The cake was a classic multi-tiered white cake (ALWAYS in style!) and was spruced up so delicately with some layers of baby’s breath.

Speeches were so much fun and confirmed so much of what I already had observed about Megan and Nick. These two are truly wonderful together and have such a beautiful relationship. Then came the part of the night I always love! The dance floor 🙂 These are always some of my favorite candids, and I knew that this crowd would not disappoint!
