Last post of the year! It’s this year’s Top Ten (well, really top 9) Insta Faves! I am always so thrilled to see what images you all loved the most on Instagram throughout the year. It was truly a beautiful year and I cannot wait to see what 2020 holds. Thank you to everyone who trusted me with their memories and allowed me to step into these big moments!
Sunny North Avenue Beach Engagement
North Avenue beach always has beautiful views, but during Kasia and LJ’s session we also had the most stunning summer light streaming in and creating an incredible color palette behind us. I love the aqua shade it turned the water and the way it warmed up the neutral tones of the city in the background. I also love the way you can feel the wind blowing in this shot, with the movement of the waves and Kasia’s skirt.
LondonHouse Chicago Rooftop Wedding
It’s not every day that you get to photograph the Chicago skyline from this angle. LondonHouse’s cupola has such incredible views that will make your event all the more memorable and unique. If you are willing to do some climbing (don’t worry, it’s so much safer than it might look!), you’ll be in for even more of a treat! Abby and Danny, in their perfectly chic and modern attire looked right at home against the elegant city background.
Park City, Utah Winter Elopement

I had a vision for a snowy, mountainous, adventurous background and Park City came through in a big way. I wanted to inspire other adventurous souls to forget about expectations and tradition and make your wedding uniquely your own!
Downtown Chicago Rooftop Engagement
So technically this was a 2018 shot that I reposted at some point during the year 🙂 But I’m thrilled to know that you all still love this session as much as I do! I will never get over the incredibly perfect skyline views from Charley and Nick’s rooftop engagement session and the elegance these two brought in their outfits.
Langham Chicago Wedding
Chantal and Mohamed’s Langham brunch wedding was so beautiful and memorable. Nine times out of ten, I’m photographing downtown in the evening so when the timeline is switched up for a brunch wedding and I get to photograph in that dreamy early morning light, I’m so thrilled! I love the almost color-block background across the river and how it mirrors the couple’s attire.
Park City, Utah Bride
When you have a snowy, mountainous wonderland surrounding you and a dress as stunning as this Edith-Elan number, it doesn’t take much to make magic happen. Everything about this photo makes my heart so happy. If there was a market specifically for mountain winter weddings, I would happily shoot those all day every day!
Paris Lifestyle Photos on ÃŽle Saint-Louis
After stopping off at a boutique de fleurs on ÃŽle Saint-Louis, Debi and I paused for some photos on the bridge overlooking the ÃŽle. The flowers combined with her bright, happy outfit were the perfect complement to the neutral cityscape behind.
Early Morning Eiffel Tower Photo
One photo of me snuck in the mix 🙂 I know based on all social media expert standards I don’t post nearly enough photos of myself, but I can’t help that my couples are all so beautiful and wonderful that I just want to share their photos all day every day!
This photo was actually taken by my friend and fellow photographer Victoria while we were both in Paris last winter. So very grateful to have a photo of myself in my favorite place!
Paris Lifestyle Photos in the Latin Quarter
This photo was taken in a beautiful Parisian apartment overlooking le Jardin du Luxembourg. Those iconic double doors and wrought iron balcony were just begging for a photo from the inside looking out. I love the way the film handled this photo with the rich shadows and the dreamy light.
