Bon après-midi à tous ! One of my favorite things to do in the afternoons in Paris is to while away the hours outdoors with a good book and, of course, a snack 🙂 Today I’m sharing some of my favorite outdoor spaces in Paris to relax for the afternoon!
Jardin du Luxembourg
Located in the 6th arrondissement, the Luxembourg Garden is packed full of beauty. Even on the busiest of days, there is always a sense of oasis here and I absolutely love bringing the afternoon to an end here!

Jardin des Tuileries
This is right in the thick of all the attractions in the 1st arrondissement, but the breathtaking scenery helps you forget about all the hustle and bustle around.

Parc Monceau
This park in the 8th arrondissement looks like a painting everywhere you turn. It is so elegant, but so down to earth, full of joggers, readers, and picnicking families.

Place des Vosges
This stunningly beautiful square is in the trendy Marais neighborhood of Paris, in walking distance of all kinds of wonderful shops, bars, and restaurants, making it the perfect spot to relax after an afternoon of shopping or prior to enjoying l’apéro!

Square des Batignolles
Tucked up in the 17th arrondissement, this adorable little park is worth the hike! It’s so charming and, though small, it is full of so many beautiful nooks!

Jardin du Palais Royal
This is a tiny, but lovely little garden behind the Palais Royal in the 1st arrondissement. It’s great if you want to relax for a bit but aren’t in the mood for the busier speed over in the Tuileries.

Along La Seine
Finally, there’s nothing like just finding a spot along the Seine to spend your afternoon! It’s such a pleasant way to soak in the sights and sounds of the city.
