Like many couples this year, Maggie and Ron had to reschedule their wedding not once, but two times because of Covid. So when fall rolled around, they decided to put together a simple, intimate gathering so that they could still get married in 2020! It may have been a “crazy, last minute idea” (as Maggie described it in her inquiry!), but it turned into an absolutely LOVELY intimate wedding. I mean you can’t go wrong when your event takes place in a downtown Chicago penthouse suite 🙂
Through a family connection, Maggie and Ron were able to use a gorgeous penthouse suite as their venue. The suite overlooked Millennium Park and had a giant patio that was perfect for the ceremony and the portraits.
I absolutely loved Maggie’s gold frock, her chic hairstyle, and her gorgeous hairpiece. And Ron brought his A-game as well in his sharp blue suit!
It was a very chilly October evening in Chicago for an outdoor ceremony, but we were determined to power through because the patio was just too pretty to pass up! I loved being right in the midst of their family and friends during the ceremony because I was able to capture the sweetest reactions.
After portraits and the ceremony, everyone went indoors to warm up and enjoy drinks, dinner, and board games (aka my dream event). It was such a sweet, joyful evening.
Maggie and Ron, everything about your day was so lovely, and it was such a pleasure to be a part of your intimate celebration. Congratulations!
