Lauren and Jonathan’s winter maternity session in Virginia is full of all the sweet and cozy feels! With that soft winter light and neutral color palette, this session was truly beautiful. And it doesn’t hurt that I’m this precious little baby’s auntie 🙂

I loved Lauren’s choice of a cream colored poncho. Not only did it keep her warm on a chilly winter day, but it also added great texture and layers to the images. The cream and green tones of her outfit matched the tones of location beautifully and allowed Jonathan to complement her outfit with a more bold pattern.

The light at this location was so dreamy, especially when captured on film. I love the way the colors sing and bounce of the water in the background, especially as we approached sunset. And I think these two are absolutely glowing with excitement!

I’m so excited to watch these two become parents and cannot wait to welcome their little one to the world in just a couple more months! Congratulations you guys – enjoy these memories 🙂
