I’m SO excited to finally share highlights from Sara and Jimmy’s intimate brunch wedding at Loft Lucia. I absolutely adored this sweet couple, and their wedding shows that you don’t have to sacrifice style when you have an intimate wedding!
Their day started with a lovely first look downtown. It may have been drizzly and absolutely freezing, but you’d never know it. These two were completely in the moment.
Isn’t this bouquet a stunner? The misty purple tones are a beautiful neutral backdrop for that pop of blue!
Cold weather tip for brides: Buy some sort of wrap or jacket to complete your bridal look. You want something that can give you two distinctly beautiful looks so we can alternate between on and off to keep you warm. I loved Sara’s soft textured jacket here. It perfectly complemented her ballerina style!
More love for this bouquet and for the gorgeous beading on Sara’s dress! And for her hairpiece. Exquisite style!
After portraits, we transitioned to Loft Lucia, where the space was beautifully set up and ready for the brunch crowd! If you’ve never been to Loft Lucia, it’s such a warm and inviting space with the brick walls and tons of windows. Sara and Jimmy’s purple and green color palette looked stunning in this space. I truly can’t get enough of those florals.
Ceremony time! It was too cold to use Loft Lucia’s outdoor space for the ceremony, but indoors was just as lovely. The best part about small weddings is that everyone in the room is the closest of close with the couple, which means emotions are usually palpable. All of that translates to emotive photos!
After the ceremony guests moved downstairs to the reception space. Even for a brunch wedding you can have the same sort of cocktail hour you would expect at a traditional wedding. Sara and Jimmy had a mimosa and bloody mary bar and snacks for guests to enjoy while waiting for the brunch buffet to open. This gave plenty of time for the couple to spend meaningful time with their guests before being seated for the meal.
Congratulations Sara and Jimmy. This day was an absolute dream!
