I’m so thrilled to share Abby and Danny’s sleek, modern LondonHouse Chicago wedding with you today! I loved the clean and simplistic look of their day and their neutral color palette of whites, blacks, and greys. And the stunning downtown rooftop views don’t hurt either 😉

First Look with a View

As a venue, LondonHouse truly has it all, especially when it comes to photography 🙂 Beautiful, light-filled rooms for getting ready, a simple yet lovely ceremony and reception room with light walls and ceilings, easy access to some of my favorite portrait locations in Chicago, and a stunning rooftop cupola for use during portraits!

After prepping for the day in their separate spaces, Abby and Danny did their first look on the roof, overlooking our beautiful city. It was such a fun, private moment with some of the most incredible views you could ask for!

Classic Chicago Wedding Portraits

After their first look, we joined their friends over by the Wrigley Building for group portraits and more photos of the lovely bride and groom. This spot, while always very lively and busy, is such a classic!

When we finished our group photos, Abby and Danny had a couple of special visitors join in for some photo fun 🙂 I got to meet Kruz and Pippa during the engagement session so I was thrilled to hear that they were going to be able to be a part of these photos too! How adorable is this little family?!

We wrapped our portrait time with more classic bride and groom portraits. As the sun continued to set, we lucked out with some of the most gorgeous soft light you could hope for, painting our city backdrop with lovely golden hues. Abby and Danny looked stunning in their sleek, elegant wedding day looks. Abby’s fitted silk gown was a dream and looked right at home against the city lines. And if you look closely, Danny is rocking his own pair of Christian Louboutin shoes which I LOVE.

Sweet and Simple Ceremony

The ballroom at LondonHouse was a beautiful, soft backdrop for Abby and Danny’s sweet ceremony. I love the simple, modern lines of this space. Abby and Danny kept the decor simple with a white runner, white florals, and clear accent pieces. I love how those thing work so well together to keep a space feeling light and airy!

Sleek, Modern Decor & A Classic Celebration

I loved the sleek and simple decor Abby and Danny chose for their reception. They combined loose stemmed white flowers with clear vases and candles. It created a very clean, light feel and was the perfect complement to the space.

And how cute are those personalized napkins with the picture of Kruz and Pippa? SO adorable.

The reception was full of so many beautiful moments and so much good dancing 🙂 Abby and Danny were the life of the party and I loved watching them soaking up every moment of fun!
