As 2017 is coming to a close, I’m reminiscing over all the gorgeousness from this past year and have decided to put together a series of Top 10 blog posts to end the year! For starters, I’ve rounded up my favorite 10 bridal detail photos from the year!

Bridal details are some of the first things that I photograph on a wedding day and I. Love. Them. These details set the tone of the day and truly showcase your personality!

(P.S., These aren’t in any particular order. Because for someone as indecisive as me, picking 10 was torture enough; having to rank them would be a year-long battle for me).

Gold & Glitter

Alright, let’s start with this gold, glittery goodness. Kelly’s gold accents were pure perfection and I couldn’t get enough of them. If you know me at all, you know that gold and sparkles are my jam. So this mix of glittery gold flats, the gold and pearl bracelet, and those INCREDIBLE earrings was heaven for me.

Chairs for the Win

Chances are, if there is an antique-looking chair ANYWHERE in your getting ready space, I will rearrange the room to make it possible to set up detail shots on that chair. An interesting chair just makes everything better! Combine a beautiful gold and burgundy chair with this stunning fall bouquet by Eden and you’ve got the recipe for magic. I loved the blush and lace fabric strips flowing off of Noel’s bouquet. The greenery paired so beautifully with the blush and burgundy colors going on. I want that chair and that bouquet in my house all the time.

Perfume Goals

Perfume is one of those details that can get overlooked, but it’s just as important to telling the story of your day. Smell is such a powerful sensation, so having a special perfume for your wedding day adds another layer of memories for the future. And nothing is quite as classy as a blush pink bottle of Chanel. Combined with these gorgeous drop earrings and sparkly garter, this detail shot truly embodies the elegance of the rest of Pat & Hannah’s day.

Who Says You Need Diamonds?

Everyone says diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but I say they haven’t seen Amanda’s stunning engagement ring. I’m absolutely obsessed with the gold and opal combo and loved capturing it on that beautiful textured perfume bottle.

Layers on Fleek

No one does wedding gowns quite like Hayley Paige. The structured layers on Hannah’s dress were absolutely dreamy and photographed so beautifully. Gah! I just want to go swimming in those layers!

All The Prettiness

With killer Saint Laurent heels and rings that look like that, you know you’re gonna get some sweet detail shots. I love the unique pattern on Jamie’s wedding band. And the combo of that soft blush and the burgundy chair is basically the color palette of my life.

Delicate Details

I don’t always capture the veil by itself, because they tend to look way better on the bride, but with the right set-up the veil can certainly be the solo star of a photo. I loved the delicate details on Adriana’s veil. Again, me and gold sparkles are always going to get along!

Soft Neutrals

I’m pretty obsessed with soft neutrals. They are so calming and peaceful and are always in style! Kelly’s blush and white bouquet was perfectly soft and dreamy, ready for any time of year.

Winter Elegance

I’m a huge fan of texture and detail and this picture has it all, along with a gorgeously elegant winter color palate. I love the floral pattern on Iliana’s veil paired with the simplistic invitations and that amazing boutonniere by Laura Carrillo Designs.

Hello Sparkly Sneakers

Um yeah you knew these were gonna make the list. Who doesn’t love a pair of sparkly sneakers? Kate Spade sure knows how to turn a sneaker into a fabulous bridal accessory and Chelsea rocked them on her wedding day!
